Greenland King Eider Hunting Adventure: Step into the Arctic Wilderness
Imagine stepping off the plane in Greenland, surrounded by the rugged, icy landscapes of the Arctic. You’re here to embark on an unparalleled hunting adventure, one that promises both thrilling hunts and breathtaking vistas. Greenland King Eider hunts are unlike any other — set in the heart of an ancient, frozen wilderness that is as untamed and awe-inspiring as the legendary King Eiders themselves.
At Worldwide Wingshooter, we offer a meticulously crafted Greenland King Eider hunting experience, with every detail designed to provide you with a seamless, unforgettable adventure. Here’s what awaits you on your journey to the edge of the world.
A True Arctic Hunting Experience
Greenland is a land of extremes, where dramatic icebergs and fjords set the stage for a hunt that will be etched in your memory forever. Your quarry, the King Eider, is the crown jewel of sea ducks, prized not only for its impressive size and vibrant plumage but also for the challenging hunt it offers. These ducks are as hardy as the Arctic landscape they call home, making each encounter a thrilling test of skill and patience.
Our hunts take place aboard the MV Sterna, where you’ll spend four full days dedicated to Eider hunting. Each day, you’ll have eight hours on the water, expertly navigating through prime hunting areas. With the guidance of experienced local captains and crew, you’ll be positioned for success in an environment known for its unpredictable weather and icy waters. These hunts are designed to push the limits of what it means to be a wingshooter, and they’re ideal for those who seek a true Arctic adventure.

Exclusions and Optional Add-Ons

We also offer gun rentals to ease the logistics of traveling with firearms. A Benelli Super Black Eagle III is available for a rental fee of $300 per person for the four hunting days. Ammunition is also provided at $1 per steel shell, with options (If available) for TSS and Bismuth shells if desired.
Limitations and Regulations
Each hunter is allowed to harvest up to 8 King Eiders and 8 Common Eiders or other seasonal species. For U.S. citizens, the maximum number of birds allowed to be brought back into the U.S. is limited to 10 birds per hunter. Our team will assist with all the necessary permits and documentation to ensure a smooth and legal process.
Elevate Your Arctic Experience
While King Eider hunting is the primary focus, Greenland offers so much more for those looking to maximize their time in the Arctic. You might choose to upgrade to Hotel Hans Egede for an additional $500 per person for an elevated stay, or add an observer (a non-hunting companion) for $1,500. Our guides can even arrange for an optional Musk Ox hunt, allowing you to expand your hunting experience to include another remarkable Arctic species.
When night falls, the Arctic offers a spectacle of its own. The Northern Lights dance across the sky, casting a surreal glow over the frozen landscape. It’s a breathtaking display of nature’s beauty that you’ll remember long after the hunt is over.
