Ocellated Turkey Hunting
With Yucatan Wingshooting, get ready to embark on an unforgettable ocellated turkey hunting trip in the jungles of Campeche .  WE HAVE SOME OPEN DATES AND PERMITS AVAILABLE FOR THE 2026 SEASON
Travel
Fly to Merida Yucatan or Campeche City.  If you fly to Merida we will pick you up at the airport and transport you to the lodge. We also have the option to be picked up and put on the Mayan Train where they will take you down to Campeche.  A new first class way to travel around the Yucatan Peninsula.  
Lodging
5 Star Resort with swimming pool, gym, first class dining, bar and much more.  Mayan Ruins just a short ride or walk in front of the resort.  Hunting is 5 to 20 mins away. We also use a new hotel in the small town that is very nice, pool, internet and everything you need.

Our guides have decade of experience taking hunters on very successful turkey hunts.  They scout and get your blinds ready in the best areas for a close shot to take your trophy turkey.  They use calls and will decoy them right up to you.

Season
We hunt the ocellated turkey in April and May. 
Turkey
We were just with the biologist who does studies on the Ocellated Turkey and he told me there are around 40,000 wild ocellated turkeys on the Yucatan Peninsula.

Package 
Everything in your package price will be included except airfare, tips, Cities permit, and any cost to get your bird back to you or your taxidermist.  Taxidermy is not included either , or any personal items.   Our package is 4.5 Days. We will pick you up at the Merida Yucatan airport or Cameche City airport. We will transport you by truck or train depending on times of arrival and train schedule.


Once you have gotten your turkey we can arrange extra tours, sightseeing, fishing, Mayan ruins, bird watching, cenotes, train rides at an extra cost.    If you decide to sit at the bar or pool and drink all day drinks are not included in package price.
