Paraguay Pigeon Shooting – 2025 Season Reservations Now Open!

The Gran Chaco region of Paraguay has earned its reputation as the world’s premier destination for wild pigeon shooting. With the 2025 season running from May through August, we are excited to announce that reservations are now open. Known for its exceptional hunting, Paraguay offers a thrilling experience for pigeon shooters, and this year, a brand-new lodge will be available in the heart of the country’s top wild pigeon territory. The lodge, managed by expert outfitters with a proven track record in Argentina, is set to be completed by August 2024.

Pigeon hunting is like duck hunting but on dry land. You’ll enjoy hunting from a blind, using decoys, and experiencing the excitement of pass shooting.

Pricing for this unforgettable adventure is $1,250 per night, with optional gun rental at $100 per day, and ammunition priced at $20 per box (subject to change). Charter flight costs will vary based on group size.

Having personally managed a lodge in this region in the early 2000s, I can attest to the abundance of pigeons—it’s truly a sight to behold. Hunting takes place in prime peanut and sorghum fields, where decoying and pass shooting are the methods of choice.
